PRESSING PLANT TO PRODUCE LARGE SIDE WELLS IN THE CARAVAN INDUSTRY
In the caravan branch well known Mr. Reimann is now starting to produce his own caravans,
coming up with his model “Morelo”, which is a First-Class mobile home to convince his most pretentious customers.
Morelo Reisemobile GmbH has the highest aspirations considering quality, function, design & comfort of their products.
So, while developing the new model, customer´s wishes and their perception of the perfect caravan directly came into the design department.
For laminating the caravan´s side walls, Morelo GmbH were confident of company Joos finding the right solution,
as Joos is well known in building large machines for caravan producers. So, they decided to invest into a
Joos-Throughfeed-Press DLP 500/OK with a pressing surface of approx 37 x 10.5 ft.
The Throughfeed-Press is now working in a new and specially built production hall with a size of 8.880 sq. m.
Model “Morelo” successfully went into production in January 2011.

ELECTRIC INSULATION SHAPE PARTS
This special construction by company Joos allows to produce shape parts made by waterlogged cellulose under temperature.
The lower pressing table is inclined by 45° to the upper one.
The customer is using a mould, which lower part is attached on the lower heating platen.
The pressure is coming from above by means of hydraulic cylinders.
To "dry" the material a temperature of 150°C is required, which is brought in by the lower heating platen as well as by the heated moulds.
Due to the high amount of water, which is pressed out of the material, the heating platen is designed with a special drain channel system.

THERMOFORMING POLYCARBONAT(PC)
Production of large-sized shape parts made by polycarbonat in a thermoforming-process. The sheet material is pre-heated in an oven before pressed
with fast stroke speed. Supporting the shaping-process the material is pressurised with compressed air up to 15 bar. The temperature of the tools & materials
have to be stabilised during the pressing process. This is done by external heating/cooling devices to ensure a high-quality product.

SPECIAL MACHINE FOR ACRYLIC SHAPE PARTS
In this machine acrylic plates are first radiantly heated up by a moveable heating panel, which can be
driven outside of the pressing area. Then the acrylic plates get shaped with aluminium moulds.
The temperature of the moulds has to be hold steady. Therefore water heating platens with independent heating devices
are installed into this press. To easing the mould handling the machine is equipped with a mould loading system.
This solution by the company JOOS has been realized in close collaboration with the customer and has been accurately
fitted on their requirements.

GIANT PRESS FOR CARAVAN INDUSTRY
In the caravan industry giant presses are required especially to produce sidewalls. Therefore Joos manufactured
a press with a surface of 11.2 x 3.1 meters (37´ x 12´). 24 hydraulic cylinders bring in the pressure. The press is
equipped with aluminium heating platens and is introduced into the customer´s heating system, which goes up to 90° C.
The machine has a total weight of approx. 60 tons. Here, Joos again gives proof of its innovative power and was able
to meet the requirements in construction and manufacturing.

JOOS INSTALLS 50 HEATING PLATENS IN FOAMING PRESS
For the foaming of PU - boards the company Joos designed a press, which allows the customer to produce the boards in a vertical position.
Thus considerably higher output with lower footprint is possible.
The pressure is brought in mechanically with a jack screw. The heating platens are attached into the customer´s own heating system.
