The company Gottfried Joos was founded in 1879 and has its head quarter in the Northern Black Forest, in the Southwest of Germany. With its 44 employees, Joos is a modern and very flexible company. Generations-old traditions and new technology development has brought success to us. With one hundred and twenty five years worth of manufacturing know-how, JOOS produces a line of hydraulic presses that clearly stands out as the most reliable and efficient product in the industry. The performance range includes individual customer’s consultation, conception, realisation and installation of the single machines up to complex system solutions.

With an export portion of nearly 50 % Joos has been the market leader in the area for veneer presses.
