Glue spreaders are often used for applying veneers to wood or in furniture manufacturing, or for coating parquet flooring or other floorboards. Our glue spreaders can be used universally for any flat carrier material. They are simple to clean and easy to handle.

 

Roller coating machines from Joos can be used not only for spreading glue, but also for applying other liquid or viscous substances like oils, glues, varnished, paints, artificial resins, waxes, pastes, PUR hot glues, etc. Products coated with the machine range from parquet flooring to cork, wood, laminate chipboard, insulations, MDF and HDF, and even composite materials.

Mechanical gluing

 

Glue penetration or inconsistent discoloration of veneers result from unevenly applying oil or glue to the base material (chipboard, MDF, plywood, etc.). Mechanical gluing ensures the glue is applied evenly. A machine with two or four rollers applies the glue evenly and efficiently.

 

Joos offers glue spreaders for different products and in customer-specific designs. The machine rollers can be polished and fluted. Different fluting designs are available depending on the glue used. The roller material can be solvent-resistant if needed. From manual operation to integration of the machine into a production line, we offer every level of automation.
