Cold pressing in a stack
A block press is the ideal choice for cold pressing workpieces. Complete press stacks are fed at once into the press (for instance using a forklift or feeding system), then pressed in a block. The principle of the press is based on a hydraulic press with an upper piston, in which the components are bonded or pressed under pressure and without heating. Joos manufactures robust block presses in accordance with customer specifications.
The Joos Made in Germany philosophy allows the company to achieve a very high vertical integration of manufacturing. We manufacture everything ourselves in our in-house production, from the press frame to the switch cabinet and electronics, as well as handle final press assembly. This means our customers receive a custom press precisely tailored to their application – no more and no less!

We have been manufacturing hydraulic presses for over 80 years. Some of our presses have already been in use for over 60 years. As a reliable partner to the timber industry, we continue to repair and maintain our older presses. Every machine continues to press materials reliably and precisely for decades, including boards for furniture construction or floorboards.
