Slab presses
Presses in every level of automation
In slab presses, pressure is transferred to the workpiece via press plates. The press plates are heated during this process, for example while applying a veneer. Slab presses are primarily used for finishing panel materials.
Joos manufactures hydraulic presses as stand-alone slab presses or entire press systems with different levels of automation, from manual feeding to fully-automated operation. These can be tailored to customer requirements, depending on the pressure, temperature, cycle times, opening width and size of the pressing space used. Our successful HP, LAP, BEU and DLP presses can also be operated as slab presses.

HP series
Joos quality HP presses – the classic choice
HP presses can be connected to existing heating systems in production. This allows waste heat produced elsewhere in production, for instance, to be used directly. This, in turn, lowers energy costs.
Even pressure and heat distribution by high-quality heating and insulating elements produces high-quality products, while optimizing the energy footprint of the presses.
BEU series
Joos quality BEU presses – flexible applications
The four models in this series offer all the advantages you expect from Joos.
