Foaming presses are an essential choice for processing foam materials. Foaming presses can be used to manufacture insulated panels made of PUR (polyurethane) or other polymers. Presses from Joos can also be used to glue sandwich panels with a pre-foamed core.
In RIM processes (rejection injection molding), foams are injected directly into the press. The different material components are used to create a reaction compound that cures in the press. This makes it possible to manufacture highly detailed polyurethane molded parts. Products manufactured in this way can be constructed with particularly thin and even walls. Joos offers its presses with a tilting machine frame for this application. The swivel tables of the foaming presses can also be designed to be tilting.
System materials, insulating materials, sandwich panels, or entire components (caravan walls) are typical products produced with foaming presses. Many industries such as the wood processing industry, the automotive industry, packaging industry, aviation and aerospace, and the construction industry use our presses or products manufactured with them.
